Mystery & Melancholy of a Street two contradictory vanishing points, a point in the picture plane that is the intersection of the projections or drawings of a set of parallel lines, thus destroying any resemblance to reality.
All of the lines of the fully illuminated building on the left meet slightly above the horizon; the alignments of the dark building meet at a point where the truck roof touches the yellow of the ground. One last detail concerning the perspective is an isometric depiction of a truck, or freight car, mysteriously lit by a light coming from…well, nowhere.
The glass panel acts as a barrier, separating the two spaces, at the same time it is also connecting the two spaces through visual connection. It allows the users to experience the ‘Fracture’.
Strengthening the idea of Fracture when the model is being placed onto the upwards slope base
By using acetate as the model's material, the path which was separated by the glass wall in the middle is being focused on & could be observed clearly

Kuntshal has always been remembered for its grid axis allowing a straightforward and direct path for its user, both pedestrian & vehicle to pass through.

Sitting on a steep topography, the building was intended to connect/ mediate between the uphill & the park below. A clear access was designed to allow the pedestrian to pass through the building from the main highway (uphill) to the park (downhill).

My focus on this project is to look at the ‘Fracture’ the bridge that cuts through the grid. When everything in the building are in proportion, this bridge was slanted, creating a cut through Kunsthal. A glass panel was placed in between the two spaces, the main auditorium is going down slope and the staircase bridge is going up heading towards the roof garden.
